Parking canopies are one of many photovoltaic projects helping reduce energy consumption on Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. A total of 21,824 solar photovoltaic panels will produce about 5.5 megawatts of power, which is at least 60 percent of the installation's current power demand at its peak production.
