The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, awarded contracts May 20 to 11 businesses as part of a shared capacity $490 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for design-build repair and renewal services to support its Facilities Repair and Renewal Program (FRR).
The MATOC consists of a single pool with three portions. The first portion is reserved for 8(a) contractors and the second portion is reserved for small business contractors, each with an estimated allocation of $100 million of the total capacity of the MATOC pool. The third portion is unrestricted and open for competition among all of the awardees in the MATOC pool, with an estimated allocation of $290 million of the MATOC capacity. The total capacity of the MATOC is $490 million. The following companies received contracts:

- Weston Solutions Inc. - West Chester, Pennsylvania

FRR services to be performed include facility repair, renovation, conversion, alteration, additions, construction and equipment procurement/installation at government installations and facilities throughout the continental United States and locations in Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories and Possessions, Japan, South Korea and locations with named contingency operations.
The ordering period inclusive of the base ordering period and all optional ordering periods is through May 19, 2020. The IDIQ contracts will have a base ordering period of two years with three one-year optional ordering periods, for a total ordering period of five years if all options are exercised. There is no guarantee that the option will be exercised on any or all of the awarded contracts.
The FRR Program offers a fast track, efficient method for design and execution of all types of facility repairs, renovations and minor construction. This program is available to all districts and their customers as part of the command’s one door to the Corps policy.
Major FRR customers include the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, National Guard, NASA and Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute.
