Huntsville Center awards modification to Information Technology contract

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville awarded Netcentrics Corp. of Herndon, Virginia, a $17,142,286 modification to contract for management services for the Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT).

Work will be performed in Herndon, Virginia, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 11, 2017.

The primary objective of the contract is for management services for the ACE-IT Hardware Catalog, integration services and purchase of various approved IT equipment and accessories.

The modification increases total contract capacity to $35,321,202 and accommodates the expected increased utilization resulting from several changes in the environment that directly impact demand.

Huntsville Center’s Information Technology Services Branch, which procured the services, offers a full scale program/project management and acquisition support solution for Department of Defense Information Technology requirements and manages the ACE-IT program.
