Ten businesses have been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a program-based capacity of $48 million to support Midwest facilities reduction demolition projects by the Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville.

The five-year ordering period includes a base year and four one-year optional years. The MATOC establishes a pool of contractors eligible to bid on future projects.

To date, no task orders have been awarded. Work to be performed includes demolition, debris management and disposition, facilities abatement and hazardous material removal, and site maintenance and cleanup.

The Facilities Reduction Program manages four regional MATOCs with a $48 million capacity per region for a total of $196 million. These regional MATOCs utilize an improved acquisition strategy with standardized contract language to ensure employment of industry best practices, thus reducing costs and improving recycling and waste stream reduction.
