Workers repair powerlines in Puerto Rico. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in coordination with the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, on Dec. 1 awarded a time and materials contract with an $831 million ceiling to Fluor Corporation, Irving, Texas, to support ongoing work to restore the power grid in Puerto Rico. USACE is partnering with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to restore safe and reliable power to the people of Puerto Rico.
