The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Facilities Repair and Renewal program provides a streamlined, efficient process for the design and execution of facility repairs, renovations and minor construction projects. This program is available to all districts and their customers as part of the command’s “One Door to the Corps” policy.

The FRR team’s innovative approach to construction provides expedient and appropriate execution of high priority projects in all 50 states and U.S. territories.

The current FRR Multiple Award Task Order Contract is a Design-Build vehicle that enables rapid response with unlimited value contracts for:

  • Facility repair and renovation
  • Conversion, alteration, and minor MILCON construction
  • Subsystem equipment procurement and installation
  • Facility commissioning and re-commissioning with construction
  • Utility repair, installation, replacement

Best Applications

Projects best suited for the FRR program are those that benefit from the design-build delivery method. The program is particularly effective for projects that exceed the scope of typical Job Order Contracts or Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements, SABER, contracts.
