Steve Daughtery took the position of Business Operations director for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville in August 2025.
In this capacity, Daughtery serves on the Huntsville Center Corporate Board as the Commander's principal advisor regarding overall mission definition, execution, and direction of business operations and functions.
As Business Operations Director, Daughtery provides oversight of Resource Management, Business Management, Project Controls, Human Capital Management, Quality Management, and Continuous Process Improvement functions, with responsibility for exercising management and operational control over the assigned programs.
Daughtery previously served as Transatlantic Division Resource Management Division chief from 2021-2025.
Daughtery brings over 20 years of service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, having worked in various capacities within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Gulf Region Division, USACE HQ, Transatlantic Division, Chicago District, Far East District, and Afghanistan District.
Daugherty holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Indiana University. He maintains a Level III Department of Defense Financial Management certification. He also serves as a Prospect Budget Training Instructor for the USACE Learning Center.
