The U.S. Army Reserve’s 88th Readiness Division (RD) covers 19 states and 277 locations throughout the northwestern U.S. from the Ohio River Valley to the Pacific coast.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ 88th RD Program Management Office (PMO) at the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville:
- Receives all mission tasks from the 88th RD; assesses USACE core competency to complete the tasks; and assigns the execution of tasks to the appropriate execution agent (within USACE, the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), or others) possessing the technical expertise and resources to execute and oversee the fulfillment of the requirement/mission.
- Provides Army Corps of Engineers geographic districts the opportunity to execute tasks within USACE core competencies. Provides the MICC the opportunity for all non-USACE core competency requirements. Assists 88th RD in finding service providers for all other requirements.
- The 88th RD PMO provides the 88th RD pre- and post-award program management, contracting and engineer technical support.
- Improves 88th RD’s facilities, roads and grounds, and infrastructure to a standard to meet mission requirements.
