REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - A robotic chassis with tracked mobility tows a marine-APEX metal detector on the shoreline of the former Maine Bombing Area, a Formerly Used Defense Site located in Reid State Park, Maine. A team of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers geophysicists and ordnance explosive safety experts supported the demonstration that may enhance Military Munition Response Program projects on shorelines.
