Huntsville Center IT Division holding virtual industry day

The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville's Information Technology Division High Performance Computing Program (HPCP) is sponsoring a virtual industry day April 13 to provide information and assistance to small businesses interested in submitting proposals for performing work for the Department of Defense High Performance Computing Modernization Program.

The virtual industry day web conference will be available from 2 - 4 p.m. CDT at www.webmeeting.att.com. Pre-registration is required. To register for the event, send an email including company name, attendees, point of contact, email and phone number. Registrations must be received no later than noon April 12.

The objective of this contract is to provide the HPCMP with support related to: program management; Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) operations; security and infrastructure engineering research, development and operations; network engineering; and software applications development.

The total programmatic capacity for the requirement will be approximately $248 million over a potential duration of five years and Huntsville Center proposes to award a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) as a small business set-aside.

As part of the day's agenda, acquisition specialists provide present-day views of scope and scale as well as conceptual views of the scope of effort, future portfolio of services, and future acquisition and procurement approach.

The virtual industry day will also provide networking opportunities. Small business participation is encouraged to increase the visibility of potential small business opportunities.
