Army Corps of Engineers supporting ‘Every Kid in a Park’ recreation initiative

President Obama, with the support of the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor Recreation to include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, launched a new initiative Sept. 2 -- Every Kid in a Park -- which provides all fourth-graders and their families with free admission to more than 2,000 federally-managed sites nationwide for a full year.
