HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, has awarded a $13,412,672 firm-fixed-price contract to J&J Maintenance Inc. in Austin, Texas, to renew optical laboratories at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Seven bids were solicited with two received. Work will be performed in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, with an estimated completion date of March 8, 2019. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $13,412,672 were obligated at the time of the award.
