Huntsville Center awards Medical Facilities Architecture Engineering Services contract, third generation

On Dec. 18, 2019, The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Task Order Contract to provide architect-engineer services for health care facilities at U.S. military installations throughout the world.

The contract is being made available to all USACE districts to provide architecture and engineering capability in their role as design and execution agent for medical military construction projects and studies requiring health care facilities engineering expertise.

The ordering period totals five years, from December 2019 through December 2024.

While the focus will be on Department of Defense medical facilities, support may also be provided to non-DOD customers such as the Public Health Service, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Veterans Affairs, and even to foreign governments with which the U.S. has foreign military interagency agreements.

The contract capacity is shared among three small businesses and three unrestricted firms. The awarded firms are as follows:

  • Sherlock, Smith, & Adams Page Southerland Page Joint Venture* - Montgomery, Alabama
  • LEO A. DALY COMPANY* – Atlanta, Georgia
  • GoldenWolf & EwingCole Joint Venture – Huntingtown, Maryland
  • Atlantic Design Group Inc. – Columbia, Maryland
  • APEX NMA Joint Venture – Carrollton, Texas
