Huntsville Center awards software contract enhancing Center’s programs

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville awarded a $295 million Single Award Task Order Contract June 27 to Siemens Government Technologies, Inc., Reston, Virginia, for Procurement and Installation (P&I) and/or Maintenance and Service (M&S) in support of Desigo/Apogee® Building Automation and Control Systems, a building management software platform.

The software is used for programs and projects related to the Center’s work relating to Utility Monitoring and Control Systems and affiliated systems and programs.

Services will be performed at Department of Defense installations or other Federal Government facilities throughout the United States, its territories and possessions, as well as other locations outside the United States.  

The Period of Performance is a 60-month base with two, 12-month option periods for a total of seven years, if all options are exercised. The scope and scale of this contract will provide direct support to Government agencies for the P&I and M&S of UMCS and related systems.
