Remediation, Environmental Services industry day set for Jan. 15

The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville has an industry day set from 1— 4 p.m., Jan. 15, for International Remediation & Environmental Services (IRES) and Strategic Environment Enterprise Resources (SEER). Huntsville Center’s intent is to solicit and award a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) in support of the IRES program and the Strategic Environment Enterprise Resources (SEER) services. 

  • For the IERS program, the Center anticipates awarding a contract for a three-year base ordering period, and a two-year optional ordering period. The anticipated program capacity is approximately $750 Million.  Huntsville Center provides support and services which may include investigations, removal actions and/or remedial actions to address explosives safety, human health, or environmental risks or hazards presented by munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), chemical weapons materiel (CWM), and biological warfare materiel (BWM), primarily associated with military actions and training.
  • For the SEERs the Center anticipates awarding a contract for a two-year base ordering period, and a three-year optional ordering period. The anticipated program capacity is approximately $249 Million. The contract will support work assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), including but not limited to, Department of Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP); Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS); Military Munitions Response (MMR) for various Department of Defense (DoD) customers including conventional munitions, Chemical Warfare Materiel, Biological Warfare Materiel and other munitions-related services (OMRS); DoD Environmental Compliance Program, Environmental Support for Others (ESFO) Program; support to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) including Superfund and Brownfield Programs; Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP); environmental cleanup for various military and Interagency customers; environmental stewardship, and other environmental related regulatory programs. contract will support work assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), including but not limited to, Department of Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP); Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS); Military Munitions Response (MMR) for various Department of Defense (DoD) customers including conventional munitions, Chemical Warfare Materiel, Biological Warfare Materiel and other munitions-related services (OMRS); DoD Environmental Compliance Program, Environmental Support for Others (ESFO)Program; support to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) including Superfund and Brownfield Programs; Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP); environmental cleanup for various military and Interagency customers; environmental stewardship, and other environmental related regulatory programs.
