    Huntsville Center commander sees progress at Redstone remediation site

    The commander of the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, obtained a firsthand look Jan. 16 at the progress of chemical warfare materiel remediation on a portion of Redstone Arsenal.

    Munitions site removal project makes progress

    The mission to investigate and remove World War II-era chemical warfare materiel suspected to be buried in 17 sites at Redstone Arsenal has reached a new milestone as Huntsville Center’s Chemical Warfare Design Center prepares to lead fieldwork at the post’s 10th such site.

    Ordnance and Explosives directorate representatives engage with military munitions association

    Representatives from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (Huntsville Center) Ordnance and Explosives (OE) and Contracting Directorates spoke to more than 30 members of the National Association of Ordnance Contractors (NAOC) during their mid-year board of director’s meeting in Huntsville, Alabama, June 8.
