    Huntsville Center is leading the effort to build more best practices and training sessions as there are limited industry standards and training currently offered regarding solar array fires.

    SunPower Contractors use a backhoe to loosen dirt surrounding a support base at Redstone Arsenal's future solar array site. The project, developed by Redstone Arsenal's Directorate of Public Works, the OEI and the Huntsville Center's Energy Division, is the first Power Purchase Agreement Program project solicited through the renewable and alternative energy Multiple Award Task Order Contract awarded by Huntsville Center in 2013.
