    Command Strategic Review strengthens communication, sets path forward

    The Command Strategic Review working session is a collaborative event between HQ USACE, Campaign Plan (UCP) Objective/Action Champions and the major subordinate command (MSC) counterparts to ensure alignment with the UCP and review progress of specific current year priority actions. Huntsville Center’s last CSR was in 2015.

    Aaron Renfro, a Huntsville Center employee who serves as the construction lead at the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant in Richmond, Kentucky, recently earned his Certified Construction Manager designation.

    Huntsville Center employs 'engineering solution' to track operation orders

    When Russ Dunford sketched his idea onto a napkin, little did he realize that it would take two years and an engineering solution to bring it to fruition. There were times, he admits, when he questioned whether a solution was even possible. Despite any misgivings, the chief of Operations, U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, persisted. There had to be some sort of process to track and update operation orders, taskings and follow-on responses.

    Carol Elder, Interior Design Section team lead for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, meets with Interior Designer Lauren Ploetze and other members of the Huntsville Center Medical Interior Design team. Elder played a key role in standing up the interior design mission, an effort that began in 2010.
