    A Redstone Arsenal Employee Assistance Program coordinator who visited the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center to give classes to employees emphasized the importance of training repetition as a key to overcoming a real crisis.

    Huntsville Center Small Business Forum brings stakeholders together

    Hundreds of business representatives from companies small and large descended on the Davidson Center for Space Exploration in Huntsville, Alabama, to attend the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center’s annual Small Business Forum, Oct. 18. The event provides an opportunity for small business representatives to discuss their capabilities with Huntsville Center contracting officials and program managers and learn about upcoming opportunities to work with the Corps of Engineers.

    Huntsville Center oversees overhaul project in Japan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Fuels Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair Program at Huntsville Center completed a four-month-long overhaul project Sept. 23 on the first set of marine loading arms at U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu.

The dive was part of an operation that took place Aug. 28 through Sept. 1 to repair the marine oil booms at the Pearl Harbor Hotel Pier off the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
