    Huntsville Center’s MOT is providing complete turn-key project support for the equipping and transitioning of staff and patients into the Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital and Ambulatory Care Center at Camp Humphrey, Republic of Korea. The new 772,000 square foot facility is set to open in November, 2019.

    A $90 million Single Award Task Order Contract was awarded to Government Marketing and Procurement, LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. GMP is a Government Services Administration schedule contractor providing information technology procurement services.

    During the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Equal Employment Opportunity office-sponsored Women’s History Month 2018 event March 29, five female panelists of different ages and backgrounds sat before an audience and spoke in depth about gender-based obstacles and the persistence required to succeed in the workforce.

    Seven Huntsville Center employees served as consultants at the Alabama A&M University's annual Youth Motivational Task Force March 11-13. Keanna Houston, Contracting Directorate, received the Michael Nobels Newcomer Award for her work as a first-time consultant.

    Martin named new ISPM director

    Martin began his U.S. Army Corps of Engineers career in the Mobile District’s Construction Division in 1986. In addition to Mobile District, Martin worked in Savannah District before joining Huntsville Center in August 1999 working in the Mechanical-Electrical Division of the Center’s Engineering Directorate.
