The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Facilities Repair and Renewal program offers a fast-track, efficient method for design and execution of all types of facility repairs, renovations and minor construction. This program is available to all districts and their customers as part of the command’s “One Door to the Corps” policy.

The FRR team’s innovative approach to construction provides expedient and appropriate execution of high priority projects in all 50 states plus U.S. territories and overseas locations.

The new FRR MATOC provides a Design-Build vehicle for quick response to facility repair, renovation, conversion, alteration, additions, minor MILCON construction, facility subsystem equipment procurement/installation, and facility commissioning, re-commissioning at Government sites worldwide. There are three pools: the first two are 8(a) and Small Business, and the third is unrestricted.

Best Applications
Projects best suited for FRR are those that would benefit from the design-build approach. The FRR team’s niche is primarily those projects that are beyond the typical capabilities of a Job Order Contract or a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contractor.
